What are we looking for? 

HIBob is looking for a strategic VP of Product Marketing to shape how we take our award-winning Bob platform to market. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this passionate marketing leader will map our market, define strategy, set the tone with positioning and messaging, drive differentiation, own the product launch process end-to-end, and help us further our market leadership and growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for aligning Product and Go-to-Market teams and strategies to deliver results. You’ll leverage your expertise in using market trends, customer, and competitor insights to inform how we launch new products and features and effectively communicate about them to our team, prospects, partners, and customers. The ideal candidate will excel in both strategy development and operational execution, command a deep understanding of B2B SaaS product development and sales processes, have strong collaboration and communication skills, and love working with team members to nurture great talent.


VP of Product Marketing responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for pricing, packaging, and promotion of our products that differentiate Bob; highlight our value, impact, and ROI; and drive awareness, lead generation, cross-selling and revenue growth
  • Create a center of excellence for market and buying persona research, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and positioning and messaging at HiBob
  • Partner with marketing team to develop compelling content and campaigns that reinforce our positioning and messaging
  • Partner with Sales and CS enablement to activate Go-to-Market teams to support current solution selling and new product launches
  • Serve as an evangelist for our industry and products through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and speaking
  • Influence industry analysts, media, and customers to share our vision for the future of work, the HR tech landscape, and our platform
  • Keep the company up-to-date with market trends and competitive updates
  • Set clear priorities and inspire and coach your team to achieve extraordinary results


 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Deep B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with an emphasis on value-based messaging for global solutions (HR tech, work tech, or ed tech industry experience a plus)
  • English as a primary language (mother tongue)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, as well as the ability to execute and deliver results
  • Experience evaluating product-market fit and influencing roadmap, MVP definition, and launch timelines based on ability to deliver compelling products to market
  • Focus on buyer and customer journeys, developing messaging that speaks not to features and functions, but rather meets potential and current customers where they are
  • Proven ability to build, grow, and mentor global teams, taking a hands-on approach to cultivating expertise, empowering functional leaders, and ensuring accountability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, leading by example to drive a culture of cross-functional transparency and understanding
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing through change and company and product evolution
  • English as a primary language
