What are we looking for? 

We are looking for an analytically driven Vice President of Sales Development to lead our global sales development organization. As a driving force behind our growth and pipeline targets, you will lead a diverse, experienced and energetic team of professionals across multiple global regions. You will have a strong record of defining operating processes for a global team and partnering cross functionally to accelerate pipeline growth. You will possess high level knowledge of revenue growth through inbound and outbound sales development activities. You will set a high standard for performance.

**Note: We will only consider candidates located in the New York Metro Area who are willing to work in our NYC office at least 2-3 days per week. We love collaborating and connecting with our team members in person and we hope you will too!**

What will you do:

  • Lead our sales development team and establish a strong inbound and outbound pipeline strategy to generate sustainable revenue growth.
  • Maintain accountability against global targets through disciplined operations and pipeline tracking.
  • Collaborate and partner with global sales and marketing leaders and executives to align on GTM strategy, shared goals and operational best practices. 
  • Partner with adjacent teams, setting pipeline and quota metrics for sales funnel management, as well as define global operating principles and standards for team processes
  • Hire, coach and develop geographically dispersed sales development teams that operate in a hybrid work environment
  • Foster professional development and engagement programs that promote learning to accelerate career growth for all team members
  • Manage budgets in partnership with compensation, finance and C Suite
  • Foster a team culture that has a shared commitment to success, celebrating wins and embracing diversity and inclusion in alignment with HiBob’s company culture and values.

Base salaries for this role range from $180,000-$225,000. Additionally this role has a variable compensation component.

Our pay bands are wide because great candidates come to us with a broad range of experience and skill sets. When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidate’s depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location - among other factors.



Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren’t the only factor. If you don’t have nearly enough experience, or not all the skills, we’d still like to hear from you. This could be the perfect fit for you and us.

  • 5+ years of VP level managerial and leadership experience of sales development teams - in a high growth SaaS company
  • Proven ability to build, grow, and mentor global teams, taking a hands-on approach to cultivating expertise, empowering functional leaders, and ensuring accountability
  • Pipeline growth mindset with a focus on execution and actions, with a track record of meeting and exceeding quota attainment targets
  • In depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods as well as employee and sales team incentive and motivation programs
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with an ability to apply data to decision making, combined with strategic and organizational planning skills
  • Highly effective team player with demonstrated ability to partner across function, rank and other differences
  • Experience and knowledge working with tech stacks to support top of the funnel growth
