About the role

Working in the People & Culture team for a company modernising the world of HR Tech is a unique, special opportunity. The Bobbers we support are informed, engaged and passionate about HR, to a level beyond many businesses out there. It’s a genuine privilege to support our teams day to day. Our People & Culture team is strategically positioned as an influential voice in our company, and we are expected to offer innovative, trail-blazing HR solutions to the biggest challenges facing today’s modern world of work. We are so excited to be growing our People & Culture team in the UK, looking for an experienced People & Culture Director to join us in this amazing company. What you will do:

Act as the People & Culture Director for a growing population of Bobbers

Become an influential partner to leaders at all levels: 

  • Partner with all leadership levels from the business unit(s) you support, from VP to first time manager 
  • Help our leaders create great experiences for their teams and inspire strong, consistent performance from their team members, helping HiBob build the exceptional 
  • Coach leaders to facilitate HR components of their role such as career development, coaching, and sustaining world class team culture

Identify opportunities for innovative, strategic HR initiatives 

  • Identify improvements and opportunities in HR offerings
  • Offer innovative and creative solutions to HR problems, ensuring our team tries, tests and blazes a trail 
  • Successfully generate business cases for new investment 
  • Own end to end HR programs
  • Work effectively with stakeholders from our global Centres of Excellence and wider business to deliver HR programmes 

Own Employee Relations

  • Own employee relations matters end to end

Get hands on with systems and Operations: 

  • Together with our other Europe People Partners, co-own HR operations activities including onboarding new bobbers, anniversary checkins, offboarding, providing payroll inputs to finance
  • Become a Bob super-user! Leverage our platform internally and help influence the future development of the Bob platform

Drive our Culture: Curate HiBob’s culture in the UK as we grow

Become a Bob Advocate: Represent HiBob at customer-facing events from time to time

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A thriving HR career, having already worked your way up into senior HR business partner positions and HR leadership roles
  • Experienced in strategic HR business partnering for Go-to-Market functions in a SAAS business 
  • Demonstrable experience handling a range of Employee Relations matters
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant employment legislation and policies 
  • Track record in implementing HR initiatives across a range of disciplines, with impact realised
  • Several years working in fast-growing scale ups, ideally in B2B Tech
  • A genuine interest in forward thinking people practices - showing us where you have trailblazer new approaches  
  • Hands on experience using at least one HRIS 
  • Willingness to get involved in a range of tasks and activities, even if not a core part of the role (we are a fast growing business so getting hands on is vital)
