About The Role

We are looking for a bookkeeper to join our finance team. As a Bookkeeper at Hibob, you’ll be managing Hi Bob Israeli site day-to-day accounting and finances.As Part of the role, you will be exposed to a dynamic, multi system environment and you would be able to effect and build long term processes.

 Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, maintaining the books up to date of the Israeli subsidiary
  • Managing month end close of the Israeli site including all cut off provisions (Prepare prepaid expenses and accrued expenses, etc.)
  • Reporting to all tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, withholding tax/vendors).
  • Full responsibility of vendor management E2E.
    • Communication with external vendors
    • Internal approval flow and communication with Company’s managers
    • Prepare and manage the payments cycles (wires/ACH) to local and foreign vendors
    • Vendor reconciliation and aging report
  • Weekly bank reconciliation
  • Managing month end close of the Israeli site including all cut off provisions (Prepare prepaid expenses and accrued expenses, etc.)
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Preparing financial and administrative reports as needed
  • Reporting to all tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, withholding tax/vendors).

 Requirements 

  • Type 2 bookkeeper with proven experience- A Must
  • Have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a global companies – A Must
  • Good verbal and written skills in English – A Must
  • Experience in High-tech/start-up companies – An advantage
  • Experience with NetSuite – An advantage
  • Highly organized and reliable with strong attention to details
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills especially excel
