A milestone worth celebrating
When I started HiBob with my co-founders ten years ago, our goal was to change the way people work. At the time, HR tech focused on process and paperwork. But we believed there was a better way—one that treated HR as the heartbeat of business, not a back-office function, and could grow with the needs of modern companies.
Fast-forward to 2025, and I’m amazed by how much the world of work continues to evolve. Teams today are global, diverse, and more flexible than ever, working from offices, homes, and everywhere in between. Yet our purpose, the reason we started HiBob, has never changed.
As we celebrate our 10th birthday, it feels right to look back at what’s changed, what’s stayed true, and how the world of work continues inspiring us to move forward.
Looking back: From transformation to innovation
When I think back to 2015, HR was still seen as a cost center. Today, it’s a strategic driver of business growth and innovation—and technology has played a defining role in that shift.
In just ten years, we’ve watched the world of work transform. Global teams. Hybrid collaboration. A focus on wellbeing and belonging. And now, the next frontier: AI.
Each shift has brought incredible opportunity, but also one clear truth: the most successful organizations are those that use technology to amplify, not replace, human potential. That’s been our north star from day one. We’ve built Bob to combine powerful data, automation, and now AI with the human insight and empathy that make workplaces thrive.
Because when technology empowers people to do their best work, businesses don’t just grow, they thrive.

If there’s one thing I’m most proud of after ten years, it’s the people behind this journey. HiBob has always been about more than technology; it’s about the humans who build it, use it, and believe in what it makes possible.
We often talk about the HiBob village, and it’s not just a phrase. It’s the reality of how we’ve grown. It’s made up of our customers, partners, and Bobbers who’ve worked together to reshape how organizations think about their people and their potential.

Our platform story: From bold idea to all-in-one
What began as my vision for a better HR experience has become a complete, people-first platform designed for today and tomorrow’s workplace.
Over the years, we’ve expanded Bob’s capabilities to meet the evolving needs of modern organizations, adding tools that connect every part of the employee experience, from onboarding and performance to compensation, engagement, and analytics. We’ve recently announced the addition of Bob’s US Payroll and Bob Finance, which is the next layer of connectivity for HR and Finance to align, plan, and grow the business in one place.
As Bob has grown, our customers, partners, and community across the industry have helped bring that vision to life in extraordinary ways. Companies like Ecosio, Ualá, and Zappi are seeing remarkable results with Bob achieving ROI of 706, 405, and 83 percent, respectively, through smarter automation, stronger engagement, and better visibility across their people data. Industry analyst Josh Bersin, who also uses Bob at his own company, put it best:

As I look ahead, I feel both proud and energized. The next decade of work will bring transformation unlike anything we’ve seen before, and I believe it will be defined by how technology and humanity come together.
AI is already reshaping how we work, but its real power lies in what it can unlock for people. It will take on repetitive tasks, help us make smarter decisions, and free us to focus on creativity, connection, and leadership—the things only humans can do.
But HR is not the only one responsible for focusing on people. Every part of a business must place people at the center of its planning, leading, and growth.
In the years ahead, the companies that win will not be those with the most advanced tools but those that use technology to strengthen culture, trust, and belonging. People strategy will become business strategy.
Workplaces will continue to evolve. Teams will span more time zones, languages, and cultures. The best leaders will be those who know how to blend data with empathy, performance with purpose, and innovation with integrity.
