About you

You are an enthusiastic and results-driven education writer with the right mix of creative and technical. You have a gift for language and communication, both written and in-person, with an eye for detail and design. You can take technical concepts and turn them into simple language and logic to create a delightful experience that helps users accomplish their goals. Above all, you are passionate about clarity, quality, and simplicity.

About the role

As part of the Customer Education team at HiBob, your primary focus will be to build and evolve customer education content for our payroll feature in Bob. You will be an important part of our strategic goals to help educate our internal stakeholders, onboard customers, increase their product usage, and retain them. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the payroll customer support team, being strategic, collaborative, and hands-on.

What will you do?

  • Edit and produce engaging and instructional content encompassing articles, how-to articles, FAQs, and video tutorials, enabling customers to effectively utilise HiBob UK Payroll features and functionalities
  • Analyse customer inquiries and feedback to identify trends and content opportunities, optimising our support resources to address common challenges preemptively
  • Work with teams across HiBob to build and implement a content strategy that reflects the payroll mission, addresses customer requirements, and adapts to evolving market dynamics
  • Maintain and update HiBob UK Payroll knowledge base, ensuring it remains a comprehensive resource hub for customers seeking information and support
  • Direct the delivery of content through various channels (blogs, newsletters, social media, webinars, etc), ensuring our content resonates with and reaches our customer base
  • Utilise relevant metrics and analytics to evaluate content performance, optimise content delivery strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to optimise all support content for search engines and identify tech solutions to enhance the visibility and accessibility of our resources online

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a technical writer within a hi-tech company.
  • Native English speaker with exceptional writing and editing abilities.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management tools and software
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate intricate technical ideas in an accessible manner.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of using data-driven insights to inform decisions
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for winning, with a team player mentality
  • Resourceful and motivated to succeed
