What will you do

If you are an exceptional Corporate Development Associate with a proactive mindset who thrives on making significant contributions and is passionate about strategic growth, join us to drive impact. You will be shaping the strategic direction of our organization by leading the identification and evaluation of specific M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and strategic initiatives. You will also support the execution of such opportunities, collaborating closely inside the Corporate Development team and also with the Product and Go-to-Market teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify sectors, verticals, and geographies relevant and with strategic potential to our business.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets or strategic partners.
  • Evaluate the strategic fit and estimate the potential value creation of M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Support our corporate development strategy with insights about market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop robust financial models to evaluate the opportunity of specific sectors and/or geographies and the financial implications of potential M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
  • Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies, such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
  • While the focus of this position is in the strategic analysis and financial modelling and valuation steps, we expect you to increasingly participate in all stages of deal execution, from initial contact with potential targets or partners through due diligence, negotiation and closing.
  • You should also be ready to support, when needed, internal teams and external advisors (investment bankers, legal, accounting, etc.) to ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Support cross-functional teams work to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Manage timeline and deliverables in the strategic analysis and Financial modeling and valuation stages of each project.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or a related field. 
  • Experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven previous experience in strategic analysis and financial modeling activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite, particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
  •  Proficiency in English is a must.
  • Solid business judgment that will allow you to synthesize relevant sectoral intelligence
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
  • Able to interpret data and propose the best decisions.
  • Able to use data-driven analytical thinking.
  • Development of complex financial models and conduct valuation analyses.

Advantage

  • Proven previous experience in M&A and/or Strategic Partnership processes
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA).
  • An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience in mid-sized to large tech/product companies.
