To support this commitment, HiBob engages with accessibility professionals and continuously works to achieve compliance with applicable international accessibility guidelines and laws.
HiBob’s website meets the requirements of the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
Our accessibility adjustments are made in accordance with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, which cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible, and the Israeli Standard (T.I. 5568) for accessible digital content based on WCAG 2.0 AA.
The website is designed to be compatible with commonly used browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (Chromium), and is optimized for both desktop and mobile use.
Our accessibility consultants have tested the site using assistive technologies, including JAWS and NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 17.3.1), and TalkBack on Android (Pixel 6, Android 14).
The website provides a semantic structure compatible with assistive technologies and supports the conventional keyboard navigation patterns recommended by the WCAG group. Users can navigate via the Tab key for focus, Enter and Spacebar for activation, arrow keys for navigation, and Esc to dismiss overlays such as menus and dialog windows.
Where third-party components (e.g. carousels, sliders) are used, we provide accessible controls allowing keyboard and screen reader users to navigate and consume associated content easily.
Alternative text is included for non-text content such as icons and images, and an accessibility option to stop all animations is provided adjacent to the main menu.
Text color contrasts are designed to meet the guidelines.
Accessibility is a critical part of HiBob’s product vision. We’re actively working on our long-term accessibility roadmap to ensure that our Bob platform becomes increasingly inclusive and usable for all individuals, with the goal of achieving compliance with international standards, like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, Level AA).
As part of this initiative, we’re evaluating and integrating advanced accessibility tools and frameworks that guide the development of accessible-by-design features across our modules. Our goal is to ensure that Bob not only complies with leading accessibility standards but also provides an intuitive experience for users with varying access needs.
While this is an ongoing effort, our teams are committed to continuous improvement and transparency. We will continue to share updates as milestones are achieved.
