HiBob API Usage and Fair Use Policy

HiBob API Usage and Fair Use Policy

1. Purpose

This API Usage and Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms governing your access to and use of HiBob’s application programming interfaces (“APIs”). This Policy forms an integral part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the HiBob Subscription Terms (“Subscription Terms”).

HiBob applies rate limits to its API endpoints in order to promote equitable access, system reliability, and consistent performance. This Policy defines acceptable and reasonable use, and is intended to prevent excessive or abusive activity that could impair system stability, degrade performance, or negatively impact other users.

This Policy is not intended to restrict legitimate business growth or normal HR operations.

2. Usage Limitations

2.1. API & MCP Usage

HiBob reserves the right to monitor API & MCP usage to ensure equitable access, system reliability, and consistent performance of the Services. Where a Customer’s API activity or integration practices materially and adversely affect the Services (either for Customer or other HiBob customers), HiBob may apply reasonable measures, including rate limiting, usage controls, and/or recovery of additional infrastructure costs directly attributable to such usage.

2.2. Data Storage

HiBob does not impose predetermined caps on the amount of HR-related data stored within the Services. However, the upload or retention of unusually large datasets, or storage practices that materially burden system resources, may lead to performance impacts, reasonable usage restrictions, or additional charges where applicable.

2.3. AI Feature Consumption Limits

To ensure fair access, system stability, and responsible resource allocation, AI Features may be subject to defined consumption limits (“AI Usage Limits”).

AI Usage Limits may include, without limitation: A maximum number of AI prompts, queries, or requests per month; Limits on bulk document generation or batch processing; Rate limits on automated or API-triggered AI requests; Limits tied to the number of licensed employees or subscription tie

2.4. Excessive Usage

Fair usage will be measured based on the number of Authorized Users multiplied by the permitted number of API calls per month. The permitted number of calls and their pricing will be detailed in the applicable Order Form and may be subject to change from time to time.

3. Monitoring & Enforcement

HiBob reserves the right to monitor usage patterns to ensure compliance with this Policy.
If excessive usage is identified, HiBob may:
