HiBob honored in Best Hybrid Place to Work category

New York, US & Tel Aviv, Israel, 11 Jan, 2023: Tech talent and employer marketplace Built In, today announced that HiBob, the company behind modern HR platform, Bob,  has been honored in its 2023 Best Places To Work Awards.  Specifically, HiBob was named Hybrid Best Places to Work in the Greater NY Area.

HiBob employees, or ‘Bobbers’ in the Greater NY Area (including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) designate 2-3 anchor days per week over which to come into the office for face-to-face time with their teams and other co-workers. Typically used to hold collaborative sessions, training or for social interaction, HiBob offers additional incentives to help encourage in person cross-functional connection amongst Bobbers.  For example, HiBob caters lunch every Wednesday, and has ‘happy hours’ every Thursday, often oriented around cultural events and holidays.

Finally, HiBob holds a hybrid monthly Americas All Hands meeting for US and Canadian employees to stay connected to the business and build culture across the region.  And every other month, HiBob hosts virtual social events such as team trivia quizzes and jeopardy.

The annual awards program includes companies of all sizes, from startups to those in the enterprise, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in large tech markets across the U.S.  It also focuses on companies whose outstanding cultures show a commitment to their people.

CEO and co-Founder of HiBob, Ronni Zehavi said: “Creating an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming culture directly correlates with employee engagement and employee happiness. In a world where ping pong tables and extra snacks in the kitchen are not enough to engage and retain employees (especially in the world of remote and hybrid work), businesses are challenged to find meaningful ways to engage, welcome, and retain their most important asset—their people. We’re very happy, and honored to be awarded Best Hybrid Place to Work 2023 by Built In and will continue to invest in our employees for the mutual benefit of both individuals and business success.”

Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.

“It’s my honor to congratulate this year’s Best Places to Work winners,” says Sheridan Orr, Chief Marketing Officer, Built In. “These exemplary companies understand their people are their most valuable asset, and they’ve stepped up to meet the modern professional’s new expectations, including the desire to work for companies that deliver purpose, growth and inclusion. These winners set the stage for a human-centered future of work, and we can’t wait to see that future unfold.”
