We play a key role in the planning, design, implementation, testing, and monitoring of bob, consistently building and enhancing our product with a purpose. We work alongside the product team to engineer and execute the unique features of our employee experience platform.

About the Role

We are searching for an innovative System Architect to join our company. As a System Architect, you will be part of a small and exclusive team of architects helping the entire development department grow and build robust backend architecture, helping Hibob in the mission of scaling our platform to a new level to support our growing customer base and their request for more advance features while keeping the system robust and performant.

you will help build the strategy for the next years, building frameworks, help in design reviews for new modules, identify risks and suggest solutions. You should be able to work with people and inspire them to reach their goals. Outstanding System Architects are accountable, trustworthy, and able to build lasting relationships with their entire dev organization.What will you do?

• Help designing the backend architecture for Hibob for the next years
• Review and help improving high level designs for big features and new modules
• Delegating tasks to infra team and groups tech leads
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible
• Initiate training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• “Get your hands dirty” from time to time creating some POCs or diving to some challenging code
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
